This was requested, so, this is what I propose to do: I'll start a new web page on my site for samples of CBM related Fidonet mail, with either a link to download the .PKT files (which can be read with Rod Gasson's Browser program), -or- as plain text, depending on how things work out. The pkt files can be read as plain ASCII but the formatting for the To/From/Date/Echo headers will be a bit messy. The main reason for doing this is so those on the Internet can see the type of messages they can find in the CBM Fidonet echos. I make no promises or guarantees on how often I'll update the file. After all, the reason for presenting the material is so people can see what the CBM Fidonet echos are all about -- not to supply the echos for people to read. In other words, what I'll have available is a *sample* of Fidonet CBM echo mail that's periodically updated. This will take me a few days to get organised - but as soon as it's going I'll post another message. Also, while on the subject of my WWW site, the permanent and ONLY location for it is now: http://hal9000.net.au/~moranec I'm sorry I couldn't keep a USA mirror site, but the good news is that it'll be a lot easier for me maintain and keep just one site updated rather than two.
