Thanks! :-) Chris McLeod (of the clan MacLeod) ------------------------------ Date: Wed, 10 Jul 1996 12:33:00 EST From: Christopher McLeod Subject: SSL patches for Lynx? "Yesterday I said that Netscape was the only browser that will do SSL; since then I've discovered that there are patches for Lynx for it. I'll probably be trying them soon; I'll report back here how they work. - Aaron J. Baugher" Any news on the SSL patches for Lynx? If I understand Aaron correctly, these patches would allow a Lynx user (e.g., someone with a C64 w/ NovaTerm and a UNIX shell account) to access on-line banking AND have that banking info safely encrypted yet readable to the user. Aaron, is that correct? Thank you very much. Chris McLeod ------------------------------ End of COMMODOR Digest - 9 Jul 1996 to 10 Jul 1996 ************************************************** =END=
