I just went to the store to buy some disks and all I could find were 5.25", 96Tpi, Double Side, High Density. I bought them hoping that they would work in my 1541, but they did not work at all, when I tryed to format them the 1541 light just flashed (a no go). What I was wondering is that there may be some thing that I could do to them so the 1541 would formatt them. If not no big loss, I only payed $3.00 for the ten of them, and I can use them in my IBMcomp. Thanks all... paceman@neca.com ------------------------------ Date: Sun, 30 Jun 1996 09:37:42 -0500 From: David Meads Subject: Re: Need help with C128 composite cable... There is no Fidonet access in my area. No BBSs will carry it here. But I have been thinking that I have been missing out. A little while ago someone told me he thought that it was possible to access Fidonet through the Internet. So can I do this? Can someone tell me how I might be able to access it? Usenet is the only place I know to discuss things pertaining to Commodore. I don't have access to much else. And because of where I live, on-line services are not a great option. The only way to that is using Datapac, or calling long distance. The cost is high. And the last service I tried I found it very hard to use. - Adam ------------------------------ Date: Sat, 29 Jun 1996 16:50:49 PST From: Steven A Cavanaugh Subject: Re: Fidonet What is Fidonet?!? -Steven C stevenc1@juno.com ------------------------------ End of COMMODOR Digest - 29 Jun 1996 to 30 Jun 1996 *************************************************** =END=
