I thought it was the fuse, but it looks : more serious than that. My joysticks broke a long time ago, and I never : got new ones. So those old games are unplayable at the moment. My 1541 : disk drive still works fine as well as does the FASTLOAD cartridge. One : day I'll get the computer and printer repaired, and I'll also get a : joystick. Get 'em fixed now. Why wait? There are several places that repairs Commodore stuff, including Creative Micro Design -- which is the largest third party supplier of software, peripheral and other neat stuff for the C-64/128. : I also used to login to QLink for about a year. I understand they're AOL : now. I got some good music files via QLink. And I remember winning a : word processor from Dan Gutman. What's he doing today? Dan Gutman left Q-Link about a year or two before it went down. I think he is still writing newspaper columns somewhere. : Well, folks, it's nice to see this newsgroup. If you are using the GEOS deskTop, CMD gives you a program to select partitions, since they only support 1581 emulation partitions on the CMD HD while using the regular GEOS desktop. The speed and capacity are nice though. A webring is just a section you stick near the bottom of your web page, and you click on the next button, and you go to the next site on the ring, and so on, until you get back to your page again. I need to know if anyone is interested, because I need at least 8 sites to start. I will not add sites by referral, I need the owner of that site to contact me. You can talk to the owner of the site, and get him to contact me. I also hear there will be a C=64 web browser. I want to make the Webring friendly towards it. Any requirements?
