Realm Master has fallen on some hard times, so he's asked me to help sell his BBS. If you're interested, please read the=20 conditions after the items. CMD HD-52 with two add-on servos of 20 megs each. The $225 servo drives have their power supplies and cable; they and the internal Quantum have no bad blocks. The HD still has the manual and the HD utilities disks. We must delete the Image 1.2a software, but we will leave the SID music, 64/128/GEOS utils and graphics files (tons, mail me if you'd like a listing). If you'd like to make an offer for the Image 1.2a software, either with o= r without the HD, feel free to. This software has been used to run TOR Commodore Board faithfully for five years. This would be great for starting up your own BBS, but you'd be responsible for any additional charges to transfer ownership to you. Excelerator+ 5.25" disk drive with JiffyDOS. Not much $30 wider than the floppy disk, and not even 1.5" high, it's a very slim and ultra-fast drive. It beats a 1541-II in space and speed -- on a 64 w/Jiffy, it's like a 128 with a 1571! IMO, of course, I feel this is cheaper than buying a 1541-II and then installing JD. My good friend, Ken Williams (Realm Master), pulled TOR from CommNet a fe= w months ago because of his high long-distance costs associated with his network connection. Unfortunately, he has fallen on even harder times an= d has decided to sell some of his BBS, including his CMD HD. He's asked me= =20 to help. In the next week or so, more items may follow. To all the CommNet sysops, I'd like to extend our thanks to you for the months of great Commodore support. This is especially directed to Mr.=20 Ray Madison (Black Saber), who was tremendous in his patience in being ou= r connect. Also, thanks to Fred Krueger (sorry, sir, I've forgotten your real name!), Mr. Michael Bendure (Mitron) and Mr. Michael Englestone (SMS Mike) for keeping CommNet going. If anyone can get a message to SMS Mike= , would you please tell him that I'd like to finish chatting with him about a couple of debates going when we left the network? As always, thanks to all those who all items are in excellent physical an= d mechanical condition, and all are guaranteed non-DOA or-your-money-back, unless stated otherwise ("blemished", "as-is", etc.). Don't be afraid to make an offer, these prices are merely what I'm asking! I hope that everyone's been satisfied in the past; no complaints yet! Shipping will be via the United States Postal Service unless you want to pay extra for U.P.S. (including pickup). Because of a couple of inconsiderate people who mailed me in the past and suddenly stopped replying after we discussed shipping, I will hold the item for you for seven (7) days after your last contact. You jerks know who you are. My apologies to another fellow who apparently rescinded his offer after I was far too slow in getting back to him.
