Try to > type when THAT'S going on! I've seen it all in GEOS I thought. Well, actually I've seen this too, come to think of it. Couple of possibilities: 1. The new joystick from CMD will freak out your mouse if plugged in th= e other port. 2. The mouse will freak out if your SID chip is going bad. It's typica= lly first part of that chip to go. 3. Your mouse could be dirty? (if it's a 1351, that's probably not it=20 though-- those damn things repel dirt I think, but check it out). That's it. I would firstly make sure nothing is in the other joystick port, then try your mouse in something besides GEOS to see if the problem follows the mouse around. I will almost guarentee you the geoCable is not at fault, but I'm not sure how PP-LQ works. Is it a driver of some sort? Remove them all the same and see if that fixes it. Next, clean your mouse. Lastly, start worrying about the SID chip. - Bo (geoJunky) #! rnews 957 Path: pravda.aa.msen.com!news1.best.com!news.texas.net!newshost.comco.com= !newsfeed.concentric.net!news-master!viking.cris.com!Rug-rat From: Rug-rat@cris.com (Thomas Pinto) Newsgroups: comp.sys.cbm Subject: Re: Zmodem for Desterm128 V2.00 Date: 17 Jul 1996 00:59:56 GMT Organization: Concentric Internet Services Lines: 11 Message-ID: <4shduc$oql@herald.concentric.net> References: <4sfk80$k7g@news2.h1.usa.pipeline.com> NNTP-Posting-Host: viking.cris.com X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] : In the meantime, if you have Dialogue 128, use it for the things that : DesTerm can't do yet.
